I'm just so, so tired of this.

The President gave a speech today that is so full of lies used to attack John Kerry that it's almost not worth pointing to any one in particular, but here's one passage that really captures the amped-up insanity of his latest rhetoric.
He has not made democracy a priority of his foreign policy. But what is his strategy, his vision, his answer? Is he content to watch and wait, as anger and resentment grow for more decades in the Middle East, feeding more terrorism until radicals without conscience gain the weapons to kill without limit? Giving up the fight might seem easier in the short run, but we learned on September the 11th that if violence and fanaticism are not opposed at their source, they will find us where we live.
Was George not there during the three debates? Does he not realize we all heard Kerry talking about hunting and killing terrorists, and never heard him say anything about "watch and wait?" Does he think we were all too busy trying to watch his smirks and spittle to be listening when Kerry clearly delineated his strategy and his vision, and there was no "giving up the fight" mentioned? Where does he get "hasn't made democracy a priority?" No wonder he only appears before pre-screened audiences; he needs to find people who've agreed to live in his alternate reality.
