The Stimulus Package

While GOP legislators spew inane objections and try to convince everyone that more tax cuts (just like the ones Bush gave us) are the answer to the economic catastrophe, could we perhaps agree that one way to quickly inject money into the economy and provide jobs would be to hire a couple thousand food safety inspectors?
