Loose Thoughts

My guess is that the British plotters were not following the Connecticut primary, and their plot had nothing to do with Joe Lieberman losing.

Isn't it interesting that it was Scotland Yard, not the British Army, that prevented this attack? What does that have to say about the dispute between a 'policing' approach vs. a 'war' approach to combatting terrorism?

British citizens with roots in Pakistan were the plotters. Not Iraqis, I notice. Explain to me again how Iraq is the front line of the War on Terror? Explain to me how Pakistan, which is hosting A.Q. Khan and probably Osama, is our good ally?

It appears that Mr. Bush was briefed about the plot days ago. Why is he on vacation?

It appears that Mr. Cheney was briefed about the plot days ago. Did he know the news was about to break when he said that Lieberman's loss might embolden al Qaeda?
