Friday Cat Blogging

Who could have imagined, back in the days when a small group of us were sweating over the browser at Netscape, that the Internet would be used to publicly post pictures of cats for complete strangers? Porn, obviously: every new technology is used for porn as soon as possible - but kitties?

Yet, new technologies often find unexpected uses. The medium has progressed to include otherwise self-respecting bloggers who take time out from ranting about politics, or talking about their love-lives, or whatever else it is they blog about, to post a picture of their cat every Friday.

I decided I'd try it to see what it was like. But, ever mindful of the history of technology, I decided I'd make it both kitties and porn. Kitty porn, get it? Yeah, OK, never mind. Why do you think this is a political blog and not a comedy one?
