What are you doing here?

GO VOTE!

After you've voted, please relax and go about your day. Periodically take a few moments to visualize huge crowds of younger voters and newly-involved minority voters swamping the polling places across the country, and, together with hard-core Democrats and traditionalist Republicans who can't bear more Bush, providing an overwhelming result in favor of truth, justice, and the American Way.

For those who are wondering, I'm cautiously optimistic. The Rethuglicans have put a lot of effort into voter supression and other tricks that worked for them in Florida, but a lot of people were on to them this time, and many are being stymied. The polls, unreliable as they are, have been trending Kerry-wards. The turnouts for early voting, and anecdotes from various places have me thinking a lot of "unlikely" voters are coming out for Kerry. I'm trying to believe in the possibility of such an obvious win that we won't be bogged down in contested results for weeks.

The Democratic conspiracy to have thousands of voters try to "steal" the election by actually showing up to vote, and casting their ballots for Kerry, is well underway.

Do your part.
