Full Semantic Implosion

Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England weighs in on the ports deal:

"The terrorists want us to become distrustful, paranoid and isolationist. In my opinion we cannot allow that to happen,'' England said.

This from an administration who won the 2004 election through fear-mongering and painting its opponents as too trusting. Worried about terrorists? Then the terrorists have already won!
