Who better as head of the entire intelligence apparatus than the man who, as Ambassador to Honduras, served as point man for Reagan's Contra policy in Nicaragua? Who better to have his hands on the levers of secret interrogation and torture than the man who hid the evidence of torture and murder by death squads in Honduras? Gosh, won't it be good to get back to throwing nuns from helicopters?

I was afraid something like this might happen when they revived him and sent him to Iraq. I hate it when my worst pessimism comes true.
