He Said What?

Could someone within telescopic range of whatever planet DeLay is living on please explain what the heck he means?
The No. 2 Republican in the House has openly criticized the federal courts since they refused to order the reinsertion of Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. And he pointed to Kennedy as an example of Republican members of the Supreme Court who were activist and isolated.

"Absolutely. We've got Justice Kennedy writing decisions based upon international law, not the Constitution of the United States? That's just outrageous," DeLay told Fox News Radio. "And not only that, but he said in session that he does his own research on the Internet? That is just incredibly outrageous."
Indeed! He does his own research! My God! And he uses one of those godless computing machines! How can he face his children?!!

I'm sorry, but I can't come close to understanding what that last bit is about. OK, I get the thing the radicals have about using the standards of the civilized nations of the world as data instead of merely considering our own Godly American concepts of cruel and unusual. But what's wrong with doing your own research? What, he's supposed to be letting Jesus do his research for him? Is there something about the Internet that I don't know? Are there gazillions of fraudulent legal textbook sites out there spoofing naive judges? I'm just so confused.

Anyway, speaking of "outrageous" behavior, I think I'd complain about this guy long before I got to a Supreme Court justice, even Scalia. Too bad Mr. DeLay doesn't agree.
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New York man was arrested on Tuesday for threatening to kill a Brooklyn federal judge and bomb his courthouse amid growing concern about the safety of the nation's judiciary and their courtrooms.

Wazir Khan, 20, who lives in New York's borough of Queens, was charged with threatening to kill an individual and destroy the Brooklyn federal courthouse, according to federal prosecutors.
