Fun with Numbers
The Washington Post has results of a Washington Post/ABC News poll. Let's take a look.
The results appear under the headline 'Narrow Majority Says War Was Not Worth It'. And when you look at the numbers, it shows that 53% said it wasn't worth it, and 45% said it was.
8 points, I guess you could call that a narrow margin. On the other hand, we haven't been hearing much about a narrower margin: 51% to 48%, which is the margin between Bush and Kerry in the last election. In fact, the White House has told us about a mandate, and how that narrow margin somehow justifies the many questionable activities of the first term.
Interestingly, a look at the graph of the responses to that question over time reveals quite a change since April of 2003. The number saying it wasn't worth it has gone from 27% up to 53%. But the poll wasn't under the headline 'Twice as Many Say War Not Worth It.' Huh. And it wasn't under 'Clear majority Says War Was Not Worth It', though less than 8 points was pretty clear in November. How about that?
I hate the way the liberal media biases the reporting of news.
